Our Partner: Women’s Empowerment
We are proud to partner with Women’s Empowerment, a Sacramento-based nonprofit that provides life-changing programs for women experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Their services are designed to remove barriers, build confidence, and create lasting pathways to employment and stability.
Job Readiness & Empowerment
Women’s Empowerment offers a comprehensive nine-week program that equips women with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to secure employment, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and find stable housing for themselves and their children. It’s recognized as one of the most impactful job-readiness programs in Sacramento tailored specifically for homeless women and their families.
Child Development Center
While mothers attend job readiness and training programs, Women’s Empowerment provides on-site, trauma-informed childcare. Their Child Development Center supports the physical, emotional, and social growth of children, ensuring they are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
Paid Job Training & Graduate Services
Graduates of the Job Readiness program can continue into paid job training opportunities that help bridge the gap to sustainable employment. Women’s Empowerment also offers ongoing graduate services, including job-retention support, access to mental health resources, and help meeting basic needs.
Trellis Gardens Housing
Through Trellis Gardens and other partnerships, Women’s Empowerment connects participants with safe, supportive housing options to help them transition toward long-term stability.
